Our new car

We finally outgrew our old Camry so we have joined the ranks of the 4WD townies!!! We took it for a drive to Wanganui to see Leigha who is studying fashion design at UCOL over there the kids enjoyed their take away fluffies on the way.
Tim tried to teach the kids how to skim stones across the river on the way back but ended up skimming one across the river and hitting Alex in the head!!!!!
Freds last day :(

We had to say goodbye to Fred our beloved K9 last year and the place is just not the same without him! Here are the kids with him on his last day. We have since aquired another puppy called Pipi who is diabolical! She won't stay out of the house even though she knows she isn't allowed inside and is always found hiding under the boys bunks!!!!!
Our Summer

Well its been a while since we put up any photos!!! Finn is now 5 months old and is such a chubby yummy baby!!! Billy is 2 and is such a hard case little kid - he really keeps us on our toes, Charlie turned 4 on the 25th of Feburary and is still the quietest of the bunch (although, he doesn't let anyone push him around) !!! Alex has started this year in a new class so he is really excited about that and loves his new teachers to bits!! Mollie is in the same class again this year and she loves her teacher too, both are learning heaps and keep their teachers on their toes!!! No such thing as a quiet, compliant Robinson huh!!!
We had a wonderful summer break and hardly spent any time at home for the first time in about 10 years! I took the kids to Foxton camp over the Christmas, New Year break and then we spent nearly 2 weeks in Taupo which was wonderful. We had lots of fun on the lake and the kids loved the biscuit and Tim and I enjoyed wakeboarding and skiing - Timmo now is trying to figure out how he can get a boat of his own by next summer!!!!!!!!
Just before Christmas we opened a fruit and vege shop near clive called Cape Providence which has been a steep learning curve!! It's going well but I think it will be next summer that will prove busy!! It seems to take a while for things like this to get known but we have learnt a lot and hopefully it will just keep growing!!
